Hi there!! My name is Nat, and I go by Gnat in online spaces!
I'm a passionate creative and performer, and I've pursued several artistic hobbies since childhood. Most notably, I love to sing and I love to create comics, the latter of which requires a multitude of skills including writing & illustration, which I provide paid services for on the side.
I have been in love with J-idol music performance ever since I discovered it as a 5th grader. In 2020 at the age of 16, I founded an online non-profit organization to realize my own dream of J-idol performance and to create a path of opportunity for others, expanding the genre into the west and making it accessible to aspiring idols like me. The FREE IDOL Project has blossomed in an incredible way since then, and I'm happy to have touched the lives of so many people who share my dream!
When I'm not working on FIP related business, you can find me passionately tearing up homework (I'm an Elementary Education major!) or doodling vocaloids in my notebook. Let's get along!!
Trivia!
"Gnatyo" is a combination of Gnat (an online nickname I acquired many years ago) and "Natarin dayo!"
The G is silent, so it's still pronounced the same as Nat.
My favorite color is the green color of sunlight filtering through leaves! Yellow is a close second, which is why I use it as my default heart emoji. 💛

The FREE IDOL Project is a deeply ambitious long-term initiative striving to unite the worldwide idol community & enable anyone to “freely” pursue their own idolhood. First founded in 2020, the FIP serves a vibrant community on discord, but the scope of our vision doesn’t stop there- one of our biggest goals is to create a website where, in addition to providing a platform catered to idols and their fans, we can host events, directly provide resources to the community and serve as a uniting symbol for idols across the globe.By investing in FIP, you are investing in the future of all kaigai idols.
